If you’re already posting content to your Facebook business page (or planning to!), you want to make sure that as many people as possible “Like” (or “follow”) your Business page so that they can all see this content.
Facebook makes it very easy to invite people to like your page, if you are already friends with them on your personal profile.
You can send an invitation to as many of these Facebook friends as you like! Here’s how:
How to Invite Friends on Facebook to “Like” Your Business Page:
Step 1: Log into your personal account and go to your Facebook business page
Click the three little dots underneath your cover photo. Click on “Invite friends”.
Step 2: Another screen will pop up. You can write some invitation text here, such as:
“I’d love it if you could support my Travel Business page and give it a ‘Like’! I will be posting great travel content here such as deals and discounts, travel advice, travel news articles and more. Please follow along! Thanks so much for your support”
Step 3: Select the friends you’d like to send this invitation to. You can select individual friends, or click “Select All” on the right-side of the screen to select everyone. You will see a count of how many friends you have selected to invite at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Once you’ve selected all the friends you want to invite, click “Send Invites.”
There you go—you’ve invited your friends to like your Facebook page!
As friends accept your request, Facebook will send you notifications so you can see who has decided to follow along.
