Now that the New Year quickly approaching, it is a great time to brainstorm some ideas of how you can connect with your clients digitally in 2019.
1). Send a Happy New Year email to your clients
Send a Happy New Year email to your clients, thanking them for their loyalty / support in 2018 and mentioning that you are looking forward to an exciting 2019 together.
In your email, you can ask them to:
– follow / “like” you on your social media channels (link to your Facebook, Twitter etc.)
– leave you a review on Google
– subscribe to your email newsletter
– follow along with you on social media in 2019 to see travel promotions, deals, articles, etc.
2). Add Testimonials to your TierOne Website Bio
If you have been receiving reviews or testimonials from your clients, send them to me and I can make sure they are added to your TierOne Travel website bio for future clients to see and read.
3). Optimize your Social Media Accounts
Connect with me and we can make sure your Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/LinkedIn is all set up and ready for posting, and looks as professional as possible to entice future clients.
4). Make use of our Supplier Promotions
Each week or two, I add new promotions from our suppliers to the Marketing Resources website, located at: https://marketing.tieronetravel.com/supplierpromos
These promotions are pre-screened for you, and an image is created for each promo that you can share on social media, as well as a sample caption you can copy and paste. Also, a PDF is generated in case your client wants more information.
Review these promotions regularly, and ask me for help if you’d like a refresher on how to post these to your social media platforms.
5). Make use of TierOne’s pre-screened resources for social media posting
You can find them here:

6). Schedule your Business social media posts ahead of time
I recommend doing this once per week (ie. Monday morning). Scheduling your posts can save you time, as you can schedule them once per week and then not think about it again (unless something timely, such as a hot promo, comes up). It’s a good way to still be active on social media without having to dedicate tons of time and thought. Contact me if you need a refresher on how to schedule posts ahead of time.
7). Facebook Ads for lead generation:
If you are interested in trying digital ads for lead generation, it can be more affordable than you think, and you set your own budget. I am here to help you with all of this so just reach out if you’d like to learn more or give it a go, for any budget big or small.
8). Join other social media platforms:
Perhaps Facebook isn’t working for you, but you’d like to try Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, or LinkedIn…. There are many options and many places you can reach new potential clients. If you’re interested in trying out other social media platforms, let’s chat!
9). Launch your own website:
Is it time for you to have your own website that clients can find you on? You may have been thinking about this for some time. It can be more affordable than you think to create your own website. I can help you, and even help you set it up in a way you can manage yourself if you’d like. Reach out and let’s chat about the options!
10). Consider starting your own travel advice blog:
Blogs help potential clients find you online, as the more content you add to your blog the better the chances that someone will enter a search keyword and find your website, potentially becoming a customer. Besides that, they’re fun! You’re an expert in travel, so why not share some of that knowledge in a way that attracts customers and leaves them wanting more? Contact me to chat more about this idea.
11). Create a social media strategy for 2019:
This can include thinking about what type of leads you’d like to attract, where to find them, and how to reach them. Then, once you’ve reached them, how can we turn them into paying clients? Or, perhaps you already have past clients on social media. How can you entice them to continue booking more products with you? I can help you with brainstorming this, so please contact me if you’re interested in creating a social media strategy for 2019.
